While home working during the pandemic has at times been challenging, here at CCL we have looked at ways to stay positive and motivated.
While home working during the pandemic has at times been challenging, here at CCL we have looked at ways to stay positive and motivated.
One of these has been to channel money saved by working from home to a worthy cause.
During COVID-19, we have saved £2,500 on our Friday team brunches. Although the team has missed this regular social opportunity, we have been delighted to donate this money to MacMillan Cancer Support. MacMillan provides invaluable physical, financial, and emotional support to millions of people with cancer in the UK every year. It is a cause close to many of our hearts.
As our team gradually returns to the office, we look forward to more social interaction and the opportunity to raise further donations for good causes with charity lunches, coffee mornings, and of course, plenty of cake!
To find out more about MacMillan and the great work they do, please visit the MacMillan Cancer Support website here.
