We understand that you don’t have to think about excess electronic components every day, but we do. So here are some common questions which should answer any issues you may have.
How do I sell my excess electronic components?
The process is easy, all you need to do is send us a list of your overstock, we then appraise the list and let you know if we can help. We will let you know whether or not we can help and then once we have an offer for you, you just need to make sure your stock is packed up ready for shipping and we’ll send you the money.
Are there any costs involved for me?
No. The costs for shipping are covered by CCL.
I have a mixture of parts new, old, and obsolete, are you able to buy all of them?
In most cases we can buy all your components.
How much of a return will I get from an Outright Buy solution?
Returns of between 5 and 10% are expected from outright buy.
How much of a return will I get from Consignment Partnership?
Returns of up to 100% are possible with consignment, however typical returns are around 30-40%.
I’m consolidating our stock from another warehouse, can you help?
Yes, we have experience dealing with warehouse closures, whether it is from mergers, acquisitions or site closures etc.
I have specialist components, do you buy those?
Yes we have experience of dealing with components from a variety of market sectors.
How long will it take to sell my excess?
This will depend on the best solution for your situation. With an Outright Buy, the process can take as little as one week, but the average is 2-4 weeks. A Consignment Partnership is a long term solution, but you will start to get a return on your overstock once it has arrived at our warehouse.
I’m sourcing components from your stock, how will I know they are legitimate parts?
CCL are members of ERAI and conform to all the regulations surrounding counterfeiting. We can provide COCs (Certificate of Conformity) when required.
