The Challenge
With the site closure already underway, there were very few staff available to assist with the inventory or logistics. The client needed a trusted partner to manage everything on-site—from listing to uplift—and to maximise the resale value of the remaining stock through a structured, low-risk solution.

Our Solution
CCL activated a Consignment Partnership Agreement, sending two experienced team members to Germany to carry out a full inventory listing of the site’s assets.
Following this, CCL’s warehouse team arrived on-site and spent two weeks sorting and packing the saleable components. Items that were deemed unsellable were separated and processed in line with WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directives, ensuring environmental compliance.
Once the material was ready, the stock was shipped to CCL’s warehouse where it was booked in under strict QC procedures and marketed to relevant buyers. All sales were handled under the consignment model, with monthly sales reports issued to the client.

The Benefits
- The client cleared their warehouse without needing to provide staff or resources during a difficult closure process.
- The consignment model ensured early financial return, with the first payments made within a week of shipping.
- Monthly sales reports gave the client clear, ongoing visibility into the sale of their assets.
- Environmental responsibilities were met, with all recyclable waste handled in line with WEEE requirements.
- The site was professionally liquidated with minimal disruption to the client’s internal operations.
