The Challenge
The project involved coordinating shipments from multiple international sites, managing customs and logistics, and achieving strong financial returns on a wide variety of passive electronic components. The client needed a reliable partner who could handle the complexity of global uplift and deliver consistent, transparent results.

Our Solution
CCL offered a Consignment Partnership Agreement on a renewable 12-month basis. This model allowed the client to retain ownership of the stock while CCL took responsibility for:
- Collecting and transporting the goods from each site
- Warehousing and quality control
- Marketing the inventory globally to known OEM and EMS buyers
- Negotiating sales only when firm market demand existed
Every month, the client received a detailed sales report outlining quantities sold, part numbers, and revenue generated.
The consignment model also enabled the client to add more stock at any time, offering flexibility as further excess became available.

The Benefits
- Maximum financial return was achieved by selling into live market demand rather than at distressed pricing.
- CCL absorbed all logistics and transport costs, removing the operational burden from the client.
- With a well-established process in place, the client continues to add new inventory into the agreement as needed.
- The partnership remains active and successful, with long-term potential for future lots.
